Parker Logan (he/him) was born and raised in Orlando, Florida to local entertainment dynamos, Jason and Christine Logan, and spent most of his childhood setting up speakers and microphones in various hotel ballrooms around Central Florida. After losing his tooth in a boating accident in 2010, he got his BA from Florida State University in English in 2021. At FSU, he was awarded the 2018 John Mackay Shaw Undergraduate Poetry Award and the 2021 Fred L. Standley Award for outstanding English student of the year for his work founding the Poetry Club at Florida State and keeping it alive through the 2020 pandemic. The club still exists today, helping undergraduates at FSU foster their voices in a ridicule free environment.

From FSU, he was accepted to Louisiana State University’s Creative Writing MFA program where he revived the Delta Mouth Literary Festival from its pandemic hiatus in 2023 and was the Editor in Chief of New Delta Review from 2023-2024. He was the winner of the 2023 Yellowwood Poetry Prize from Yalobusha Review, and his poetry has been nominated for a Pushcart, Best New Poets, and the AWP Intro Awards.
